What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store this in our database to create your family tree account.

We also store the family tree data you or other family members add: names, birth years, photos, and other personal information about family members.

How We Use It

To identify you when you log in
To link your account to your family member profile
To send you notifications about additions to the family tree
To maintain the accuracy and security of the family tree

Who Can See Your Data

All approved family members can see public member profiles (name, photo, birth year, location, occupation)
Only admins can see your email address
Ghost members are only visible to verified members and above

Data Storage

All data is stored on our private server. We do not sell your data to third parties. Photos are stored in our secure uploads directory.

Google Sign-In

We use Google OAuth for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the sign-in process. We only request your basic profile information (name, email, photo). We do not receive your Google password.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account by contacting the admin. We will remove your Google account link and personal information from our system.
